The Forgotten

We are constantly on alert for those places that are calling out for a move of God; they have been discarded by the rest of the world; they are off the beaten path of missions. Meet the forgotten.

to leave behind unintentionally; to fail to think of; leave unnoticed

Schambach Foundation is on a mission. We are constantly on alert for those places that are calling out for a move of God; they have been discarded by the rest of the world; they are off the beaten path of missions; and in some cases, their own governments have forgotten them. We at SCHAMBACH FOUNDATION know that we are sent to the FORGOTTEN ones, the ones to whom no other ministry has connected; we are called to preach Jesus by doing something significant to change their community and leave behind a better quality of life. In so doing, we are building authentic relationships with people who no longer feel forgotten, and we are making connections to the deepest areas of their hearts.

Cariari, Costa Rica – Schambach Miracles of Love School

In the North-Central region of the Costa Rican rainforest, a FORGOTTEN group of families, mostly single mothers and grandmothers, are struggling to care for and educate their extremely handicapped and special-needs children. A good number of the children are bed-ridden or wheelchair bound; some have trachs or feeding tubes; many have severe birth defects. In a little-known move of the state, these families, over 400 in number, were asked to move to the same community, where they were promised special housing and education for their precious little ones. They are living in the promised housing, but the school where their children would have attended, shut down. The only school available to them is 70 kilometers– 3 public buses, a taxi ride, and a long walk away. The cost of the transportation and the strain on the children makes the journey to the other school impossible more than 1 day a week, a day that begins at 2 am and ends at 10 pm. SCHAMBACH FOUNDATION is connecting with these families, joining hands with them to build a school for these children. Donna has already been ministering and laying hands on these children and bringing them gifts, but this is just the beginning of what God wants to do. Because this is the biggest venture the ministry has ever undertaken, God must connect us with like hearts that want to be involved, and God will build this school.

Belen, Peru

While holding a pastors’ school in a neighboring town, God opened our hearts to the little village of Belen, a primitive village along the banks of the Amazon, an intake town for native Amazonians to learn to survive in modern civilization. Belen is abject poverty at its worst, with no adequate clean water supply, widespread hunger and rampant disease. There is rare opportunity for education or employment. God assigned SCHAMBACH FOUNDATION to unite the pastors of Belen into weekly prayer meetings, and in just 4 months, together we celebrated “Christmas in Belen.” God used SCHAMBACH FOUNDATION to bring 600 pairs of shoes for the children, a celebration in the center of the town with Christmas bread and hot chocolate, and 6 outboard motor canoes called “peke-peke” boats to help the pastors reach their children when the Amazon overflows. SCHAMBACH FOUNDATION is now welcome there at any time to minister the Good News of Jesus, because Belen has felt the mercy and compassion of Jesus touching their community.

Massailand, Kenya

In the drought-parched region of East Africa, among the indigenous native Kenyans, the proud Maasai, we came preaching Jesus, as the living water and we joined other ministries to leave behind a well of fresh water to relieve their desperate condition. (God illustrated His love in His own way in Maasai Mara that year; just after our team left, storm clouds formed and that region was washed with pouring rain!)

Nigeria (November 2015)

Years ago, R. W. Schambach planted Gospel seed in the soils of Nigeria. The one church established in the early 1970’s had grown to a church of 30,000 members and 6,000 church plants, in 35 years, when he returned in 2005 at age 79.

Now, 10 years later, Donna Schambach and the team have been invited to Nigeria for the opportunity of pouring into thousands of pastors and leaders who serve God in areas controlled by oppressive religions. This mission also includes a gathering of hungry hearts to exceed the tens of thousands, where a large cross-section of denominational leaders will be meeting. Many souls will be saved; leaders will be raised up; and outstanding miracles will occur for the glory of God! This will be the most impactful meeting of Schambach Foundation since Brother Schambach’s passing.

Pavas, Costa Rica (February 2015)

After uniting over 80 pastors and leaders from the Pavas sector of San Jose, Costa Rica, Schambach Foundation was able, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to see immediate change affected in a gang-torn area. After anointing the soccer field with oil by means of helicopter, thousands of people received Jesus as Savior; great miracles of healing and deliverance occurred; and, 3 leaders of the 2 most prominent gangs came to know Jesus. The last count of gang members won to Jesus since our leaving the city was over 60- young men who were baptized in water and placed in local churches. To God be the glory!

Managua, Nicaragua (January/February 2013)

In 4 days time, Donna and the SCHAMBACH FOUNDATION team, ministered to over 30,000 people in the center of the nation’s capital. God used our team to unify large sectors of the churches in the city, as we were welcomed by 10 news organizations: television, radio and print media. The president of the country sent representatives to welcome us and to help handle the security for such large crowds. With music and preaching blasting across the field and over the trees, thousands heard the call to repentance and many began to stream toward the altar areas, increasingly each night. During the four days in Managua, SCHAMBACH FOUNDATION ministered to over 1,200 pastors and leaders and well over 1,500 women, with Donna personally laying hands on each of them.

Guapiles, Costa Rica (March 2012)

This was the launch of Donna’s ministry in Central and South America. In one night, God sovereignly moved in a soccer stadium, and spontaneously, first with one man, and then with hundreds more, the power of God called sinners and backsliders to repentance. On the platform that night were bishops and apostles to South America who after seeing the power of God demonstrated, opened the door for SCHAMBACH FOUNDATION to enter every country on the continent.

SCHOOL OF MINISTRY & LEADERSHIP COACHING

One of Donna’s consistent prayers and true passions has been for years, “Lord, place me before hungry people.” The answer to those prayers has come in the form of schools of ministry and pastor/leader conferences that she has conducted in the US and wherever SCHAMBACH FOUNDATION has traveled. Thousands of pastors, teachers and church workers have gathered for her prophetic teaching and impartation.

Nakuru, Kenya

In the heart of the Rift Valley, where civil war had torn congregations and families apart, Donna and her team ministered to over 1,500 pastors and leaders who testified of a great community healing as a result of that school of ministry.

Nakuru

Iquitos, Peru

Along the banks of the Peruvian Amazon, nearly 1,000 pastors and their wives gathered from many small towns and villages along the Amazon, some traveling days by peke-peke boat, to attend their very first pastors meeting ever. Many were so poor, that they testified that this was the only formal training they had received in their lives; and we were able to distribute 300 Bibles to those pastors who never owned a Bible.

Managua, Nicaragua

From multiple mega-churches throughout the capital city of Managua, pastors and leaders gathered for a day of encouragement, prophetic challenge and personal impartation.
